Tracks

Be it a buskers rendition of the Beatles’ ‘Here Comes the Sun’ from the platform of a London tube station. Eagle Eye Cherry’s ‘Save Tonight’ playing on a night where you wanted to do just that. Laura Pausini’s ‘Yo Canto’ as the bus winds its way along a road parallel to a shear drop into the Mediterranean.  or Powderfinger’s ‘Vulture Street’ album rocking out of arms reach while suffering through three days of ceiling white it really makes no difference.

Why? Because even research has shown that just thinking about a particular song can evoke vivid memories. Sure some may not be songs you’d listen to by choice, but nevertheless they attach themselves to moments in time and we’re stuck with them.

One of the best things about travel is that the more connections you make during the experience the more alternative routes you’ll have to recall or trigger your memories!

Check this page for the list of songs that will have me remember each stage of The Bold Line for years to come!
